Add AfterLogic Webmail Lite

I would like to request the addition of AfterLogic Webmail Lite: http://www.afterlogic.org/webmail-lite

Although it has a cPanel installer, it doesn't integrate as well as the official cPanel Webmail clients.

AfterLogic Webmail Lite is almost as popular as RoundCube among our own client base and I believe it would be a great addition for cPanel.

Thank you.

in all likelihood, this would probably replace a current webmail offering...but which one?

I believe that replacing SquirrelMail with AfterLogic Webmail would be a fair decision. No offense to SquirrelMail fans, but it looks very outdated.

AfterLogic Webmail Lite is a must. All of our clients love it and its very user friendly.

I don't know if any of our customers use squirrelmail, most use horde or roundcube and the only reason to use squirrel mail is for it's simplicity, afterlogic light seems to do this quite well :)

This should replace @Mail Open which was previously offered as an optional plug-in; in my opinion there is still room for a fourth option if we re-evaluate the current, excessively large clickable areas for each Webmail client that can be reduced in size to make sufficient space without over-crowding.

SquirrelMail should be kept for its superior reliability during troubleshooting; it is simple and straight-forward enough that you can expect it to work when Horde and Roundcube do not. Both Horde and Roundcube rely on MySQL in a stock installation; this is a significant downside in addition to their increased complexity. SquirrelMail is an essential tool that should not be removed.

I can agree with you Don on that. If anything it would be great to see it added into the options, afterall, in WHM the administrator can choose which to display to the clients.

I used to want this, because Afterlogic was the nicest looking of any of them, but with the Roundcube redesign -- was it last year? -- it's much better and we just disabled Squirrel and Horde. Less to support and deal with, and haven't had any complaints.

I am not a fan of SquirrelMail but i would love to try Afterlogic since it has a huge developer community.

Afterlogic really look cool and I would use this - we have never liked SquirrelMail and have not given it to our users. Taking a quick look at Afterlogic looks like exactly what we need for those needing basic hosted webmail.
